The peninsula of Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat is one of the most beautiful sites in the Mediterranean, ideally located between Villefranche and Beaulieu. It houses more than 600 villas, most of them very luxurious, which in the past belonged to famous families, including the King of the Belgians Leopold II. The mild climate, the discretion, the proximity of Monaco and Beaulieu make it a popular place for large international fortunes who acquire superb second homes there.
Saint Jean Cap Ferrat has an exceptional coastal path that stretches over fourteen kilometers. At the tip of Cap Ferrat is one of the most beautiful palaces in the world, Le Grand Hotel du Cap. There is a village spirit in Saint Jean much appreciated by the 1,800 inhabitants.
Its real estate market is one of the most expensive in the world. It consists of around 2,300 homes, mainly luxury apartments for 60% and luxury villas for 40%.
The prices per square meter are on average 11,000 € / m2 for apartments and 13,000 € / m2 for houses but can easily exceed 30,000 € for the best located houses.
